Paul Dempsey today reveals new single ‘Morningless’ – lifted from his forthcoming sophomore LP, produced by Tom Schick (Wilco, Ryan Adams) and slated for release later in the year. This new track arrives seven years after the Something for Kate frontman’s acclaimed solo album debut, 2009’s top five, gold accredited ARIA charts success Everything is True. Says Dempsey of the song, “There’s a desperation in this song that stems from the feeling of being far away from someone and urgently racing to get back to them, almost in defiance of the motion of the planet and the passing of day and night…” Directed by Alex Badham (Oh Mercy, Worlds End Press, Ocean party), the video for ‘Morningless’brings the combustible brevity of the track to life. Fans will get their first introduction to tracks from the forthcoming solo album as Paul plays three very special, limited capacity shows in support of ‘Morningless’.
